Michelin works closely with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to design the right radial tire to optimize the performance of transport and work machines. If you have the right tire for your application, you can save money.
Because earthmoving equipment is becoming more sophisticated, we're staying ahead of the curve. In partnership with OEMs, we're already working on next-generation tires.
Your tires undergo rigorous evaluation before they ever operate on your machines. That's because Michelin is the only tire manufacturer with a dedicated earthmover proving ground. Located in Almeria, Spain, tires are subjected to working conditions more severe than the ones you face in your application.
The Michelin proving ground consists of 9,000 acres with 50 miles (80 km) of test tracks. Using 30 earthmover machines, we average over 1,860,000 miles (3,000,000 km) each year testing Michelin earthmover tires.
